Agartala
It is the capital of Tripura. It is a famous tourist destination. A lot of top attractions rest here. It is known for its fresh produce of rice, jute, tea and oil seeds. The best places to visit at Agartala are Ujjayanta Palace, Kunjaban Palace, and Neermahal. These palaces depict the ingenious architecture of the royal era.

Kumarghat
It is situated in the North of Tripura and is famous for its vast pineapple cultivation. It is 140 km from Agartala. They indulge more in fruit farming. A famous tourist spot here is the Venuban Vihar which was built by Magadha King Bimbisar. Today it is a deer park and a zoo. There is also a lake here called Kamala Sagar which is a popular picnic spot.
Deotamura
It is situated in the north east of Tripura. The rock- cut sculptures on the banks of River Gomati are a must visit. These sculptures include the carvings of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Vishnu and many more.
Pilak
It is 100 km from Agartala. It is located amidst dense valleys surrounded by paddy fields. You will find many archaeological remains here.
Unakoti
There is nothing in comparison to the artistry that rests here. It has many rock cut sculptures and ancient temples. It also famous for Ashokashtami Fair held every year.
Udaipur
It is 55 km away from Agartala and is famous for its lavish temples. Some of the famous ones are Tripura Sundri Temple and Bhubaneswari Temple. The Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is also here which consists of a botanical garden, a zoo, lake and boating facilities. It has many species of birds and also has the unique spectacles monkey.
